"I ask you if the guy named Phuchong is the same guy I saw in the wedding night?"
"Yes." She answered firmly. "Right"
"He's good looking. Who is he?"
"My old friend. He's an assistant district officer.
"Next year and on, he will be promoted to be a sheriff or a provincial governor. It's the bright future" And he just asked her all of a sudden. "Why didn't you marry him? He looks charming."
Aruprapai stood up and answered him clearly.
"Because he has never proposed me."
"You mean if he proposed you, you would not refuse him, right?"
"Yes. Refusing his proposal is stupidity."
"That's so?" He sit up.
"So...why did you marry me though you'd never seen my face before? Don't you fear that you would live your life with a sexual disabled guy?"
"Because marrying with you makes me smarter after I used to be stupid." She turned to face him. "You're not disabled and I'm not handicapped. You have no right to meddle in my personal matter."
...
"Arunprapai!"
"I'm your wife. If the word "wife" means "slave" for you, I can tell you that you're not smart for marrying me."
...
"How well do you know the word "wife", so you dare to marry me?" he asked "Your status is not like the servant, just making breakfast, doing housework or following the order." He teased her and threw himself on the bed as the same. "There're something more than that...like...the matter on the bed."

"You can't go! I won't let you go!" His voice was fierce.
"Come what may! I will go! I will go!" My tears flew down again. "Let me go on my way, so you can be happy with her."
"I've never called that thing that happiness. If it's happiness, it's just temporary. Damn it! What should I say to make you understand?" He pulled my hand and begged me. "I want you to understand that I not only love you, but I also worship you. No matter how many tens more lovers, they can't replace you. I always tell you even until now."
"But I don't want the word "lover". I hate promiscuity like that. I don't want it to tarnish my marriage life. We've not married for a year yet, Khun Rerk. But you make me lose faith in you...lose love, lose respect, lose everything! You coldbloodedly kill me."
"I don't know which satan or ghost made me mistake evil for good."
"It's not any satan or ghost. But it's your deep desire..the old flame that you said it would never be lighted up again. Actually, it's can be. You just pressed it, trying to deceive yourself that you could forget her. I'm too stupid...too crazy to believe you. You may understand yourself now who you really want. Not me, but Jai-Rerng. I'm just a person you found to substitute for the old one you lost. Actually, you don't love me at all."
